Our Recruitment Process

Step 1 → An Introductory Meeting

When you decide to make use of ROLA's services, we'll firstly schedule an introductory meeting at a convenient time.

We'll identify the unique needs of your organisation. In other words, how much involvement would you require from ROLA.

During our introductory meeting, we'll clarify the roles and responsibility of the various role players in the skills development process.

Step 2 → Data Gathering

In order to complete the relevant information for the SETA, we need to access information from your organisation's HR, Finance, Payroll and Admin departments.

This can normally be delegated to one contact person in order to streamline the process.

The information that we gather can provide valuable strategic input into the future growth of your business.

Step 3 → Data Capturing and WSP Submission

We insert all the data we accumulated into a Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) template that is generated by the different Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETA's).

Once the WSP is complete the final copy is submitted to your organisation for approval and signature.

Once all the role players have signed the WSP and Annual Training Report, it is submitted to the SETA.

Step 4 → Training Needs and Strategy Meeting

In order to achieve the deliverables in the Workplace Skills Plan, the planned training interventions need to be implemented.

We assist your organisation to implement the planned training interventions and will facilitate the use of accredited training providers.

Step 5 → The Beginning of an Ongoing Process...

This process is ongoing and the documentation needs to be submitted on an annual basis on the 30th of June.

If for any reason an organisation is not able to submit the documentation they will forfeit their levy contributions for one whole year and will only be eligible for claiming levies in the following year.

We ensure that we communicate timeously with our clients in order for them to continue in the Skills Development Process.
